Here we are loaded up and ready to go by about 9 AM. |
Not a bad day at all. Got a few Sprinkles and that was it. Dad, Tanner and Steve were the first to arrive, for the first time. |
Dad watching on the road. |
Punk, George, Matt and Odoug arrive. Nice looking truck! |
Punk just had to buy a new machine and of course he says they didn't have any 500's (because he told us before that was all he needed) so he HAD to buy an 800 Sportsmen. George didn't bring his machine this time but thought he should break his moms machine in a little more. |
Matt brought his step dads Polaris 500. |
Odoug brought a Yamaha Big Bear 400 with. |
Tanner is taking no chances of being left behind. |
| Click here for a video file of Matt going ahead through some mud and me holding the camera driving for a short while. I was trying to capture how it was to be with us. |
Here are some close-ups. |
The front is wider. He's got a winch built in. |
Notice the dual exhaust. Punk also installed a pair of dual fuel tanks because it does use a little fuel! |

for a video of Steve and Tanner coming through some pretty deep water.
Click here for a video of dad being pulled out and Odoug going around and through. Click here for dad still being pulled out. Click here to see dad coming through a deep section, he doesn't make it. Click here to see Matt hooking up to dad's machine. Click here to see this longer video of dad being pulled, Punk going around and Matt going through a deep spot. Click here to see the final video of Matt showing us how it is done, I told him that looked kind of like the last time I saw him. |
There's that George breaking in moms machine. |
This guy is a four wheeling nut. He made it till around 4. Then snoozed by bouncing off my back for a few minutes till we stopped. I tried to get him to take a snooze, but he got his second wind. Tanner, that is peanut butter and jelly mixed in with dirt. |
I thought I should have two pictures of that. All in all it was a pretty good day, a few sprinkles and that was it. Becky made caramel rolls over at dads. They are good, too good. I looked like a high school kid breaking out after those sweet things. Man. No more pans for me, maybe just a couple next time. |
